Tell us about the design of St. Regis Aspen.

Emulating a historic late 19th Century mountain manor, a subtle mix of winter grays and summer warm tones blend with striking outside views and natural textures to create a rustic, yet sophisticated environment. Each room is an inviting expression of sumptuous style, revealed in a palette inspired by classic mountain sunsets.

What are three fun facts about the property that many are surprised to learn?

  1. The building is constructed of over 800,000 Colorado red bricks.
  2. We have a ski butler.
  3. Every holiday season, we place a 30-foot tree in our courtyard and host a community tree lighting ceremony. This year, we are adding a 7-foot tall walk-in gingerbread house to the holiday festivities!

What touches do you believe make a room or suite feel like a home-away-from-home?

  1. St. Regis Butler Service, which includes complimentary pressing, packing and unpacking and beverage service in suites.
  2. St. Regis Airport Butler, which provides guests with complimentary concierge and shuttle service to and from Aspen Pitkin County Airport and our resort.
  3. We see families return year over year to our resort as part of their holiday family tradition. In December, we place a vintage postal box in our lobby with letters and stamped envelopes to the North Pole. Kids of all ages – and adults – participate in the merry mail. It’s a comforting touch that our staff (and Santa, of course) gets involved with, leaving such warm memories with our guests.
